*These awards can be entered in partnership with a non member (one of the companies must be a CSA member).

Categories & criteria

Best Use of Technology Award

This award recognises outstanding achievement in the innovative, effective, and impactful integration of technology within a project, product, or service. To be considered for this award, members must demonstrate:

  • Innovation: The technology solution should introduce a novel approach, offering new possibilities and pushing the boundaries of existing technologies.

  • Effectiveness: The technology must successfully solve a problem, enhance processes, or improve outcomes, showing clear and measurable results.

  • User Experience: The solution should prioritise accessibility, ease of use, and seamless interaction, ensuring that technology is beneficial to its target audience.

  • Impact: The technology should create meaningful change, whether in productivity, societal impact, or overall industry advancement.

This award honours projects that set the standard for technological excellence.

 

Business Innovation Award

Awarded to a company/department/team or individual who has demonstrated high levels of creativity, adaptability, and inventiveness in the ever-changing work environment, delivering genuine innovation for their company with positive outcomes in areas such as improved processes, customer service, efficiency, and cost-saving.

 

Merit Award

The Merit Award is awarded to a frontline customer-facing individual who has made an outstanding contribution and high-level of commitment to their company in the last 12 months. This individual’s performance, attitudes and dedication has been to the benefit of the company, their department/team and to the customer.

 

Team Award

Awarded to a department or team which has excelled in providing high levels of service, quality and dedication, as well as demonstrating outstanding teamwork in the last 12 months - contributing to the wider success of their company and to the benefit of the customer.

 

Kim MacMillan Award

In honour of the late Kim MacMillan, Senior Learning & Development Consultant and a treasured member of staff at the CSA. This award commemorates Kim and her huge contribution and dedication to her learning and development work. Awarded to an outstanding apprentice, team leader, or a team of learning and development practitioners, who have given an outstanding contribution to Learning and Development in their company.

 

Best Marketing & Communications Initiative Award

This award recognises an outstanding marketing and communications initiative that demonstrates creativity, innovation, and measurable impact. Entries should showcase strategic thinking, execution excellence, and tangible results.

Eligibility & Criteria:

  • The initiative must have been implemented within the last 12–24 months.

  • Clearly outline the objectives and target audience.

  • Provide measurable results, including engagement, reach, and business impact.

  • Highlight the use of multiple communication channels (if applicable).

  • Showcase evidence of strategic planning and execution.

 

Best Collaboration Award

This award recognises outstanding collaboration between two or more organisations, teams, or individuals that has led to significant achievements. Entries should highlight effective teamwork, innovation, and measurable impact.

Eligibility & Criteria:

  • The collaboration must have taken place within the last 12–24 months.

  • Clearly outline the goals and purpose of the collaboration.

  • Demonstrate how teamwork and partnership contributed to success.

  • Showcase innovation, problem-solving, or unique approaches.

  • Provide measurable outcomes and impact of the collaboration.

  • Highlight challenges overcome and key learnings.

 

Best International Member Award

This award recognises an outstanding international CSA member firm that has demonstrated excellence in performance, innovation, and commitment to the its sector values. The winning firm will showcase exceptional contributions in service delivery, client impact, and cross-border collaboration.

Judging Criteria

  • Strong business growth and operational excellence over the past 12–24 months.

  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, innovation, and best practices.

  • Effective collaboration within the international network.

  • Positive impact on clients, stakeholders, or communities.

  • Evidence of leadership, adaptability, and market influence.

For all award categories supporting materials, such as campaign visuals, performance metrics, and testimonials, are encouraged (you will be able to upload 2 sides of A4 page max via the entry portal).
